NeuralChef is an AI-powered web application that provides:

• Recipe generation based on ingredients and preferences
• Meal planning and shopping list creation
• Recipe storage and organization
• Recipe sharing and discovery
• Nutritional information and dietary filtering

The Service is provided "as is" and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms

4. User Accounts

5. Subscription and Payment

5.1 Subscription Tiers

NeuralChef offers multiple subscription tiers:

• Free: Limited features with usage restrictions
• Basic, Premium, and Pro: Paid tiers with additional features and higher limits

5.2 Payment Terms

• Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually)
• All payments are processed securely through Stripe
• You authorize us to charge your payment method for recurring subscription fees
• Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice

5.3 Cancellation and Refunds

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
• Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods
• Access to paid features continues until the end of the paid period

5.4 Free Trials

If you receive a free trial:

• You may cancel before the trial ends to avoid charges
• Payment information may be required to start a trial
• Free trials are limited to one per user

6. User Content and Conduct

6.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you create, including recipes, meal plans, and collections. By using the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

• Display publicly shared recipes to other users
• Use aggregated, anonymized data to improve the Service

6.2 Content Standards

You agree not to post content that:

• Infringes on intellectual property rights
• Contains harmful, offensive, or illegal material
• Promotes dangerous food preparation or consumption practices
• Contains malware, spam, or phishing attempts
• Violates any applicable laws or regulations

6.3 Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Use automated systems to access the Service excessively (scraping, bots)
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
• Circumvent usage limits or access restrictions

7. Intellectual Property

7.2 AI-Generated Content

Recipes generated by our AI system are provided for your personal use. While you may use these recipes freely, you acknowledge that:

• Similar recipes may be generated for other users
• AI-generated content may not be eligible for copyright protection in all jurisdictions
• You should verify the accuracy and safety of all recipes before use

8. Disclaimers and Limitations

8.1 Health and Dietary Information

IMPORTANT: NeuralChef is not a substitute for professional medical, nutritional, or dietary advice.

• Nutritional information is provided for informational purposes only and may not be 100% accurate
• Consult healthcare professionals before making significant dietary changes
• We are not responsible for allergic reactions, food sensitivities, or health issues
• Always verify ingredient safety and dietary compatibility
• Cross-contamination and allergen warnings may not be comprehensive

8.2 Service Availability

We do not guarantee that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Generated recipes will be accurate or suitable for your needs
• All features will work on all devices or browsers
• Data will never be lost (though we maintain regular backups)

8.3 Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services (OpenAI, Stripe, Google). We are not responsible for:

• Third-party service availability or performance
• Changes to third-party APIs or services
• Third-party privacy practices or data handling

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEURALCHEF SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Health issues, allergic reactions, or food-related injuries
• Damages arising from unauthorized access or data breaches
• Service interruptions or data loss

Our total liability for any claims shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €100, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limitations, so these limitations may not apply to you.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NeuralChef and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Content you post or share through the Service

11. Dispute Resolution

11.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the country where NeuralChef is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11.3 EU Consumers

12. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement:

• By us: Immediately if you violate these Terms, with notice for convenience

Upon termination:

• Your right to access the Service ceases
• Your data will be deleted according to our retention policy
• Sections that by nature should survive will remain in effect

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Updating the "Last Updated" date
• Sending email notification for significant changes

Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.
